Denmark has been named the world’s best country to live in, according to the statistical analysis (2019 ) by the CEOWORLD magazine, with Switzerland Finland, Australia, and Austria rounding off the top five. The ranking looks at 70 countries around the world. As for European countries, they occupy 8 of the top 10 spots in this year’s ranking. Buffalo Chicken Dip

Ingredients

  • 1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup cooked chicken breast
  • 1/2 cup Buffalo wing sauce
  • 1/2 cup ranch or blue cheese salad dressing
  • 2 cups shredded Colby-Monterey Jack cheese
  • French bread baguette slices, celery ribs or tortilla chips

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 350°. Spread cream cheese into an ungreased shallow 1-qt. baking dish. Layer with chicken, wing sauce and salad dressing. Sprinkle with cheese.
  • Bake, uncovered, 20-25 minutes or until cheese is melted. Serve with baguette slices.

Test Kitchen Tips


  • Shredded rotisserie chicken works well.
  • If you want an ooey-gooey top with very little browning, cover with foil when baking.

    Mini Caramel Rolls

    Ingredients 1/3 cup packed brown sugar 1/3 cup butter, cubed 2 tablespoons light corn syrup 1-1/2 teaspoons 2% milk 1 tube (8 ounces) refrigerated crescent rolls 2 teaspoons sugar 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon Directions Preheat oven to 375°. In a small saucepan, combine brown sugar, butter, corn syrup and milk; cook and stir over medium heat until blended. Pour into a greased 9-in. pie plate. Separate crescent dough into four rectangles; gently press perforations to seal. In a small bowl, mix sugar and cinnamon; sprinkle evenly over rectangles. Roll up jelly-roll style, starting with a long side; pinch seams to seal. Cut each roll into 9 slices; place in prepared dish, cut side down. Bake 15-18 minutes or until golden brown. Cool 1 minute before inverting onto a serving plate.
